Registration for the conference opens 1 October 2026.
You will receive information on how to register once your abstract has been accepted.
Registration fees
All prices below are including VAT (25%).

A decision concerning eligibility for a reduced fee will be communicated prior to the registration date.
Swedish participants
Swedish participants can choose to pay either by credit card or by invoice.
Invoice to Swedish organizations will be sent as an electronical invoice (e-faktura) if possible, or otherwise as a pdf by e-mail.
Participants from outside Sweden
All payments must be made in SEK (Swedish krona)
Payment should be made by credit card or by bank transfer (invoice).
Invoice
An invoice including bank transfer information (bank account number, IBAN, etc) will be sent upon choice of this payment method. The invoice is created manually, and will be sent usually a few days after registration.
The participant/payee is responsible for any bank charges/fees associated with the payment.
Credit card payment
We accept the following credit cards: VISA and Mastercard.
For your safety, our payment system is connected to the 3D Secure system for ensuring the security of payments made through the internet. Your card needs to be connected to Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode. Your bank can inform you if your card is connected, and if not already, how it can be connected.
According to Swedish and EU legislation, 25% Swedish VAT will be added to all registration fees. This according to EU legislation and regulation for conferences and events (C-647/17, EU:C:2019:195, of 13 March 2019 and Article 53 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC of 28 November 2016) VAT is paid in the country where services are rendered, e.g. the country in which the conference takes place.
Exception: Swedish participants from governmental public sector organizations “statliga myndigheter” (e.g., universities, governmental agencies): No VAT will be added. In this case, you must choose Invoice (Swedish billing address only) as the payment mode and provide the VAT number of your employer.
For payment by credit card, VAT will always be charged, also for participants from “statliga myndigheter”.
Cancellation conditions
Will be updated once the registration is open.
The conference is organized by the Feminism and Institutionalism International Network (FIIN), a body of feminist scholars from over 50 countries who study social and political institutions through a gender lens. FIIN was inaugurated at a workshop at the University of Edinburgh in December 2006. This conference thus marks twenty years of feminist institutionalism.
